Reuben Norris | General Manager

The General Manager oversees the business operations of the Archdiocese, including overseeing budgets, and brings business matters to the attention of the Archbishop.

The General Manager leads and manages the Archdiocesan offices to enable the Archdiocesan staff to support and deliver what is needed to meet the Archbishop’s vision and mission, ensuring that this work is done within the canonical framework of the Church.

Msgr Gerard Burns | Vicar-General

Essentially the Archbishop’s “right-hand man,” the Vicar-General assists the Archbishop in his executive activities and pastoral mission.

Chris Duthie-Jung | Church Mission Director

Church Mission is the pastoral support team to the parishes of the Archdiocese of Wellington. The aim is to promote and enable intentional missionary discipleship in faith communities.

Kelly Ross | Vicar for Education

The Vicar for Education is the Archbishop’s representative appointed to exercise local jurisdiction in “all things” pertaining to Catholic Education, particularly the Archbishop’s responsibilities as Proprietor under Pt 33 of the Education Act 1989 (previously the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act).

Roshan Abeyesundere | Development, Investment & Finance Director

The Development, Investment & Finance Director looks after the finances of the Archdiocese.

The work of the Finance team is wide-ranging, as the staff support parishes, clergy, and schools as well as being responsible for the Archdiocese’s financial administration.

Carmel McKee | Catholic Social Services Director

Based out of the Compassion Soup Kitchen on the corner of Haining and Tory Streets in Te Aro in central Wellington, the Director of Catholic Social Services helps to ensure the delivery of services to people in the community, from social work to chaplaincies in hospitals and prisons, the Seasons for Growth and Game On programmes, healthcare for retired clergy, refugee resettlement support, and more.

Ben Mack | Communications Advisor

The Communications Advisor handles internal and external communications for the Archdiocese, including looking after the cadw.nz website, Archdiocesan social media channels, and producing the monthly WelCom newsletter.
