“What is the Weather Telling Us?” – evening encounter at St Francis of Assisi Ohariu Parish

In the spirit of celebrating the jubilee year of St Francis of Assisi, you are invited to an evening of encounter with our natural environment with James Lunny, a meteorologist with MetService New Zealand.

Through demonstrations and conversation, we will be led into a deepening appreciation of the weather and the climate around us.

Date: Saturday, 18 July

Time: Starting at 6:15pm

Venue: St Francis of Assisi Ohariu Parish (37 Dr Taylor Terrace, Johnsonville)

Weather permitting, a session with a Dobsonian telescope will complete the evening.
