The statues of Sts Peter & Paul at St Mary’s Church in Nelson have been restored.
Peter Palmer researched the colours and created a new hand and sword, which were broken and missing over the years.
The statues are now back in place at the newly repainted church, which of course is part of the new St John Paul II parish.
