Deacon Emilio Capin will be ordained as a priest at 11am Saturday, 5 September at Sacred Heart Cathedral (40 Hill Street, Thorndon) in Wellington. Everyone’s invited to witness this special moment.
Deacon Emilio has completed his formation at Holy Cross Seminary, and was welcomed at Masses at Holy Trinity Parish in early July.
Emilio is from the Philippines. He started his seminary formation in 2020 and was ordained to the diaconate in September 2025.
Please pray for Emilio as he takes this next step in his faith journey and takes up God’s call.
