On 23 May, Connolly Hall came alive with fellowship, faith, and cultural richness as Africans from Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Sudan and Ghana gathered for the first time.

Fr Patrick Bridgman shared a meaningful input on Proclaiming the Word, inspiring deeper reflection and participation in liturgy. This was followed by vibrant conversations on how African communities can connect, contribute, and share the beauty of their spirituality within the Archdiocese.

A special moment was the children’s participation, proudly presenting their “flame” artwork in preparation for the Pentecost Mass—an inspiring symbol of unity and the Spirit at work among us.

A truly grace-filled beginning of community, collaboration, and celebration!
