Are you keen to delve deeper into the Catholic community? Do you live in the upper South Island?
St John Paul II Parish is inviting people to take part in the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA). The OCIA is the gradual spiritual journey through which adults are welcomed and fully initiated into our Catholic Church.
After a time of preparation, new Catholics are received into the Church at Easter each year.
This is an invitation to people who are interested in exploring the teachings of the Catholic Church to begin the series of lessons and conversations that are part of the journey of preparation.
If you know anyone who might be interested in OCIA, please pass the invite on to them – some people have said they have found being personally invited by someone they know very helpful in their decision to explore more.
Sessions start Tuesday, 1st September.
