On 3 May, the St Patrick’s faith community in Wainuiomata, Te Wairua Tapu Parish, gathered in joyful celebration for a Thanksgiving Mass honouring Bernadette Patelesio, who has completed the Te Hao Nui – Launch Out formation programme. Fr Akuila Taliauli, SVD presided over the mass.
It was a beautiful expression of community, with Bernadette’s whānau, friends, Launch Out colleagues, and parish members actively participating in the liturgy.
The Mass was followed by a warm reception where heartfelt tributes were shared. Her children and colleagues expressed deep gratitude for Bernadette’s dedicated ministry and pastoral care.
