What do we do?
Young Church supports youth and young adult ministry with the Archdiocese of Wellington. We aim to grow the faith of our young people to seek Christ in their daily lives.

Late Night Mass
The Late Night Mass for Young People is a monthly Mass at 8pm at Sacred Heart Cathedral for all young people across Wellington. We invite different youth groups from all over Wellington to help serve and join in fellowship afterwards.

ADW Youth Festival
All youth are invited to the ADW Youth Festival on 25th July for an afternoon of prayer, faith and unity! We have an overseas keynote speaker, Braden Johnson joining us. This is a great opportunity for youth to grow in their faith and to get a glimpse into what WYD may look like.
St Carlo Acutis’ relics
We are blessed to have St Carlo Actuis’ relics visit Wellington from 7-10 June. We have two events planned for our young people, an XLT night and Late Night Mass! XLT will be on Monday 8th June and the Late Night Mass will be on the 9th of June. There will also be an exhibition on St Carlo’s life.

World Youth Day
World Youth Day is coming up next year! World Youth Day 2027 is being hosted by South Korea and is a worldwide event started by St John Paul II. Young Catholics from across the world gather for a week of prayer, formation and volunteering.
